Sharkeys Gig... Sisig On Da Side...

Hello Everyone...

The Sharkeys outing was kinda special for us because it was the first time that Charles was able to join us again since he got abducted by the dudes from the Planet OnL... I was really looking forward to seeing Charles again because of reports going around that he had already shed his indie-con-emo looks for the more sophisticated brit-pinoy look... Thank God he didn't... all though there was something different about the hair, masyadong straight... "nagpa-relax" cguro... with all the money he's getting from those at-the-last-minute-cancelled gigs for the month of July, it was inevitable that he was going to do something about his hair... hmmm, HAIR... i used to have that during the early 90's... life is realy cruel... it has always been happening to me eversince... just when you need things, they suddenly disappear...

i remember when i was young, we were very rich... we had all the luxuries money could buy but i wasn't interested then... all that was running through my head way back then was playing basketball, trying see what my pokpok neighbor was wearing underneathe her skirt during bingo sessions, trying to catch monster insects like salagubangs, dragonflies and grasshoppers during rainy days... i remember at one point, i was able to catch a grasshopper that was about 6 inches long... whatelse? ah i was also trying to get the attention of a girl named Gemma... Oh Gemma... i was 14 then and i think she was 15, she was really pretty and taller than me... i was about 5'5" during those days, she was like 5'7"... She even became a schoolmate when i was in 3rd year high school and we were even members of a science club during 4th year... i met her at a basketball tournament... she was the muse of a rival team... the very first time i laid my eye on her, i was instantly hooked... three years went by without nothing happening between us... there were countless time we i tailed her on her way home... there was even 2 or 3 instances the we walked almost side by side about a road's-width apart on our way home... i never had the guts to talk to her... only twice i guess... hmmm, this is really degrading... i have to stop there...

basta malupit talaga ang buhay, they're always there when you don't need them but when you need them, they're gone... Gets nyo na cguro yun?... Okey Okey... i'm talking about hair... Malaking bagay sa Shoegazing ang hair... "it brings out the best in you"... Also money... i'm going to Hong Kong to see The Cure... i've no money... Paano ko mabibili ang mga gusto kong bilhin... No matter how i try to save, i often time end up short when the need arises... Maybe i'm cursed...

... going back to the sharkeys gig... the sisig there is really great... soft and crunchy!!! 2 table spoonful is enough for a cup of rice... i wish we could've played earlier... we played last... i pity the people who weren't able to see us play... i think pinoys are ready for the type of music that we play... they deserve the best... i was able to catch some bands play and i feel sorry for some them... they're admittedly skillful but they're songs are really CRAP... i kinda like bits and pieces of the band that played before us (Aroma) specially the last two songs... i little bit more into that direction and they'll get my outmost respect... add a bit more "uncomromising attitude" to top it all... sometimes i wish the there would come a storm just like the one during the a biblical event wherein the building of a certain tower that was suppose to reach the heavens was abandoned because peaple started to talk in diffferent languages making it very impossible for everyone to understand one another... a storm that would affect a musician or songster's approach in creating music... dream on... dream on...

don't take me seriously please... i'm just doing this to get myself to sleep... i'm getting there... almost...
