Hello Everyone...
Last July 17's gig wasn't that bad... The short practice before the gig was quite helpful i suppose... Kel steadily played the drums... Dennis held his own as our main axeman.... Rene as usual had lapses but was really up to it... on the other hand, it think me and Marain fell short that night... i guess i was singing like crap last night and so was marian... unlike in practice where everything was really smooth and almost perfect...
Me and Rene shared thoughts after the gig and he was quite concerned with Marian's singing... well, i too was a bit troubled last night... but i had reasons to believe that there were some factors contributing to our crappy singing... on my part, my guitar was sounding like Satan singing and i was too annoyed to focus on my singing... (during Candaydioline's set i made sure that my amp was sounding the way i want it to sound and as a result, i was very well focused on my singing) also i was so annoyed by the low register feedback i keep hearing every once in a while... i can apply the same factors to Marian's but i guess there's some more... i often notice that when she gets pumped up, she becomes let conscious about the way she sings... maybe when we get to practice sometime soon, i'll try to focus more on her... make her sing more relaxed... more twee so to speak...
i'm sleepy... that's all for now...
By the way... Buzz Night is Just a week away... Soft Pillow Kisses, Aurora Borealis, Lila, Isolation Ward, Candyadioline and Mizwa will be seeing action next week, July 26 for Buzz Night at Mayrics...
... i'm really having a hard time falling asleep at the proper time... maybe i should try taking sleeping pills...
