It is sad that I only learned about you guys late last year. I bought this album, "I'd Spend the Day With You" sometime in 2003-2004 because of the song Stolen Flowers, which reminded me of The Wake's Plastic Flowers... so I thought you guys were Brits... It was only late last year that a friend told me that you are Pinoy and suggested the song Just Like the Sky... Man, that song blew me away and made you one of my favorite bands...
Sad to know that you guys are struggling now... sad that I never get the chance to see you perform live... please keep me posted about your gigs with hopes that I can catch your music when I get the chance to come home for a visit. I am in Singapore but I do keep a local mobile number, or please add me to your FB account...
You have no idea how much a big fan I am and it will be a great great honor to meet the one who makes these beautiful, soulful, indie music.
thanks for commenting... it's always been like this but i've come to accept the fact that it's very hard to maintain a band that doesn't really make any money... members usually come and go...
there are times that i feel tired of it but i love the music so much and there's only a few of us here in the Philippines dedicated to this art...
it's still fun anyway specially when things begin to look bright again... and knowing that there are people like you out there being touched by our music, it inspires me to continue with Soft Pillow Kisses (and Candyaudioline too)... thanks again for appreciating our music...
