A Bit Frustrating...

Hello everyone...

Rene and I was able to see Marian once more... The last time we saw each other (although Rene wasn't there) was at the NU Rock Awards last November 30 and i was in quite an ugly predicament that time hehehe...

Come to think of it... It's only Me, Rene and Marian who are presently active members of Soft Pillow Kisses while on the Side of Candyaudioline it's Me, Dennis and Kel plus Cuckooh (although i've notice recently that she's a bit out of it)...

Jann Paul recently went back to Bicol for Christmas vacation while Charles is still unavailable... But Charles promised that he'll be playing guitars for Pillow this Buzz Night...

Marian had to go home early so after the Pillow session, we proceeded to practice a few more hours as Candyaudioline and went to eat at our favorite after practice destination... there we had our fill and started talking about one of the most important aspect of a guy's life - GIRLS... although that time, there were more guys than girls at Mr. Kabab... so we (Me and Rene in particular) shifted our discussions to more pressing matters...

we went home afterward... on my way home, i kept thinking at some of the items that me and Rene talked about... at how frustrating it was to wait this long for a band activity without having some of your real band mates with you... we also talked about Charles' situation and how it's becoming more annoying each time it presents itself... but we also realised that everything that's not to our liking will always be beyond our control... we'll just have to live with it for the mean time... a Bit Frustrating as always...

Just Got Back...

Hello Everyone...

just got back from an out of town adventure of sorts... wasn't able to write something about it in this blog or even in the other blog because of time constraints and an incredibly slow broadband connection in the hotel where we stayed in at Dubai...

as for anything pillow to write about... well not much... although we did play a gig last November 28 at Mayrics... Sort of an impromptu Buzz Night of sorts which i can say, was quite a success because aside from a sizable attendance of sorts, i was surprisingly pleased at all the bands that played that night... Special mention goes to Random Knobs... very promising indeed... although i was a bit disappointed at how Tether played that night... Seems that they are beginning to lose to plot so to speak... Candyaudioline did very well that night... Nag-improve na si Cuckooh sa pagkanta which made me consider to keep her or should i say make her permanent... Although i'm still thinking about it really... As for Soft Pillow Kisses's performance that night, Rene's words sums up everything... "Iba Talaga ang Candy at Pillow pare, Angat na Angat sa iba... Lalu na yung Pillow"... normally, i wouldn't take Rene's words seriously because sobrang biased sya lalu na pag dation sa music at sa Pillow... pero the way we played that night was really something else... Not the perfect set that we usually do during Buzz Nights but it was really something... Kel of Candyaudioline played the drums for us, Charles didn't play his parts like he usually does because of lack of practices but everything was well in place... even Marian was singing i a way that i hoped she do for quite some time now...

well that's about that for now... hopefully we'll get together soon practice and play a gig somewhere with all members intact... can't really wait for that...hope it happens soon...
