it was nice of you
to say a word or two
it made me realise
the way you looked into my eyes

i silent sigh was heard
just a bunch of silly words
they turn to thoughts of you
they start to play inside my head

you twist and swirl
then turn into a thought so true...

and as time goes by
you seem so out of sight
behind the happy smile
there lies the truth you try to hide

yet it was nice of you
to stay an hour or two
suddenly i realised
you looked at me as if i'm dead...

we spin and turn
i crash you burn
it seems so cruel
